Fundamental Requirements

Valid Passport

• Copy of your onward and return flight tickets
• A confirmed itinerary with travel plans that obey all rules and regulations in India
• The travel itinerary must be prepared according to your purpose of visit
• Please keep in mind about the validity while preparing an itinerary

Financial Proof

• The immigration authorities may ask for your financial proof
• It is crucial to have them to prove that you have enough funds in your account to travel and stay in India
• Bank statements, paychecks, and official sponsorship letters can be submitted as proof

Payment Method

• Final payment can be done by credit/debit cards

Health and Vaccination Record

Indian Business e-Visa

• An Invitation letter from the Indian company hosting you, detailing the purpose and duration of your visit
• Additional Documents regarding the Indian Organization you are visiting like registration details, contact number, etc.

Additional evidence requirements for e-Business Visa visiting under Global Initiative for Academic Networks (GIAN)

Along with the previously mentioned documents, for the e-Business Visa for India, applicants must also provide the following:

• Copy of Business Card.
• Invitation of the host institute to the foreign faculty.
• Copy of the sanction order under GIAN issued by the National Coordinating Institute viz. IIT Kharagpur
• Copy of the synopsis of the courses to be taken up by the faculty.
