It takes only about 15-20 minutes to complete the application process.  An E-Conference Visa is one among the other 4 e-Visa types such as Indian Tourist e-Visa, India Business e-Visa, Indian Medical e-Visa, and Indian Medical Attendant e-Visa.

What Are The Eligibility Criteria & Requirements To Obtain An Indian E-Conference Visa?

  • The participant should be from one of the eligible countries.
  • The conference must be organized by an Indian government ministry or department, a government-approved institution, or a public-sector undertaking.
  • A Valid Passport of the participant
  • The passport should have at least 6 months of validity period, and 2 blank pages.
  • Scanned passport-size face photo of the participant
  • The email address of the participant
  • Financial Proof of the participant to prove they have enough funds to travel and stay in the country. Bank statements, paychecks, etc. can be used.
  • Health & Vaccination Records of the participant.
  • Accommodation and other travel documents of the participant.
  • Return Ticket of the participant.
  • Debit/Credit Card of the participant.

  • Political clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs, India

  • Sometimes, the email regarding the confirmation of the Visa may end up in the spam folder of the participant's email address. So, applicants must check their email spam folder to receive the confirmation as soon as possible.
  • Once the applicant receives an email with their Indian E-Conference Visa approval letter, they are directed to print it out and bring the paper copy, along with their passport, on their journey to India. Digital copies are also fine.
